Swiss Raclette

The Filipinas Chorale Group and Cultural Organization’s 10th yr Anniverssary  and Christmas Party t’was successfull celebrated last Saturday.  Attended Filipina and Swiss people. Of course me, my hubby and my parents inlaw. T’was big party and many food and desserts we ate,  (swiss food and pinoy food) yummmy…!!! They have also evening program “The Philippine Cultural Show” which is presented by Filipinas Chorale Group and Cultural Organizations, and “Visayan Cultural Dance Group of Bern” . The Magic P “world of Illusions” And the Spectacular Surprise Number Presenting “Kuska Caceres” She is from switzerland. And after of the presentation, they have also Disco and Ballroom Dance. The Program was finished almost 11:00 and we go home after that because I got headache. We didn’t wait the Ballroom and Disco it is finish 1:00h  but we enjoyed the program and we also enjoyed the foods which is so yummyss!!! Hmmm…

     Yesterday we went to our friends. Where they live in Friebourg. We ate Raclette which is so special for the swiss people and staple of wintertime here in Switzerland. Raclette with melted cheese, served over boiled potatoes and side dishes of tiny cocktail onions with lots of ground black pepper, dilled pickles, gherkins, tomato, mushrooms and roasted meats. The name comes from the French verb "racler", to scrape, because of the way the melted cheese is scraped off the block.  A cow milk which is from Switzerland.

The production of Raclette which is originated from canton Valais Switzerland where the alpine farmers shepherd would eat Raclette cheese heated  infront of the fire. The best month to eat Raclette between November until February but for me all year.(oh di ba ang takaw ko)--- This is also served in summer. And this is very easy to prepare…whewww…

 I don’t say that I don’t really enjoy the Raclette, I’m really (takaw)  one of that Raclette!

I really like with spicy it is really yummy…!!! I really like to eat with mushroom, tomato and cocktail onions.

 On that night we ate so a lot of Racllette.

We got home almost midnight and I feel so sleepy.
